A festive family day!

Take part in the 20th edition of The Walk of Courage PROCURE, a unifying event where every step counts in the fight against prostate cancer. Come walk with family or friends in a fun and supportive atmosphere in the heart of Mount Royal. Your participation directly contributes to supporting men affected by the disease, breaking taboos, and advancing research.

FREE FOR CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER

DATE: Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

LOCATION: Maison Smith, Mount Royal Park, Montreal (1260 Remembrance Road, Montreal, QC H3G 1A4) $ paid parking

IMPORTANT: The Camillien-Houde Road will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Please use Chemin Remembrance to access the event site.

PROCURE EVENT VILLAGE

Starting at 9:30 a.m., come enjoy the PROCURE village, set up next to Maison Smith to welcome all our participants in the PROCURE Walk of Courage and Tour of Courage. This location will be the starting and finishing point for the walk.

A festive, welcoming atmosphere full of surprises awaits you, with a host of FREE activities for the whole family:

Games for children and adults
Musical performance by the band Break Syndical - a tribute to the Cowboys Fringants
Sweet and savory snacks and refreshments
Face painting for children
Entertainment and mascot
Photobooth
Lunch offered

EVENT SCHEDULE

9:30 a.m.: Site opens (Maison Smith)

9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.: Arrival of walkers. You must register at the reception tent upon arrival.

10:45 a.m.: Welcome speech.

11:00 a.m.: Start of the walk.

11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: 5 km walk along the marked route.

12:15 p.m.: Unveiling of the amount raised and thank-you speech.

12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.: Lunch service. Pick up your lunch coupon at the reception tent.

12:20 p.m. to 13:15 p.m.: Live music by the band Break Syndical - a tribute to the Cowboys Fringants.

1:30 p.m.: End of the event and site closes.

WALKING ROUTE

Distance: 5 km (loop)

Starting point: Maison Smith (1260 Remembrance Road, Montreal, QC H3G 1A4)

Ending point: Maison Smith (1260 Remembrance Road, Montreal, QC H3G 1A4)

Type of trail: Gravel trail (Olmsted Road). Closed-toe shoes are recommended. The trail is accessible to people with reduced mobility, wheelchairs, and strollers.

USEFUL INFORMATION

Weather: The event will take place rain or shine! We therefore suggest monitoring the weather forecast to adjust your attire accordingly and bringing sunscreen if necessary.

Food: Free lunch, snacks, and refreshments included for all registered walkers who have paid the registration fee.

Water: Gallons of water will be available on site. Please bring your reusable bottle.

T-shirt: Remember to wear your PROCURE t-shirt for the event. No t-shirts will be distributed on-site at Mount Royal Park. All t-shirts were mailed to participants duly registered before May 14, 2026.

GETTING TO MOUNT ROYAL PARK

BY CAR (PARKING)

There are four paid parking areas in Mount Royal Park: two to the west, near the Lac-aux-Castors pavilion, and two to the east, near the Maison Smith. The closest parking lot to the event is the Maison Smith Lot 117 (1260 Remembrance Road, Montreal, QC H3G 1A4).

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Mount Royal Park is easily accessible by public transit. Visit the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) website for schedules and to plan your trip.
